The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application system.
Applications are actually open and may shut on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must meet the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a house that has a combined gross domestic earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 for every annum.
• People with disabilities qualify if their combined household earnings isn't going to exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and my nsfas wish not submit any proof of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is click here open up to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
Applicants are reminded to provide the correct Id Doc numbers, names, and surname, as reflected in their South African ID.
NSFAS only click here funds people who are researching or intend to study in a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
